Processing layers

How a stored email is read in layers, from naming its stage to suggesting products.

Once an email and its files are stored, the processing side reads it in layers. The first layer decides what the email is, and only an enquiry, or an email it is unsure about, goes on to be read in full. How the email reaches this point is on Mail to processing.

Stages. An email is an enquiry, a quotation, a purchase order or a sales order. The deal only moves forward, so an email that does not move it on is tagged as a revision. Thanks and chasers are tags only.

Revisions are tagged but not yet linked to the quotation or order they change. Linking waits for the quotation data.

When unsure, or when the model is unavailable, the email is treated as an enquiry so no request is hidden (R7).
